Golf-club Killer Arrested

Yes, the suspected Fuengirola murderer has been arrested, but not before fatally stabbing a landlord in the neck and his girlfriend several times.

AND Fuengirola Double StabbingWe covered the original murder in Fuengirola on the 15th of this month.

The stabbing incident, which appears to involve jealousy and took place around 23.00h on Calle Valle Inclán on Wednesday, in the Boquetillo area of Fuengirola.

The caller said that there had been a double stabbing and that the aggressor had fled the scene. However, the suspect was finally tracked down to behind the health centre in Las Lagunas with deep cut wounds to his hands.

Following the attack, the girl had managed to get out onto the street after seeing her boyfriend stab 51-year-old Daniel in the neck. Daniel had been subletting a room in his flat to her.

She told those that came to her aid that her 34-year-old husband, had attacked her. In fact, it was her statement before the police in hospital that connected the death of a man who was killed with a golf club on Saturday. This first victim was allegedly the murderer’s friend.

Sadly, the police had only been waiting forensic-evidence confirmation from the golf-club murder in order to arrest the 34-year-old man but this second event occurred before they were ready.

The second incident took place inside the flat and began with an argument which lead to the man reportedly stabbing his 19-year-old girlfriend. Daniel, her landlord, tried to intervene and received a fatal stab wound to the neck. Daniel managed to stagger outside and approximately 150 metres along the street before collapsing from the massive loss of blood.

The girl also escaped from the flat and tried to get help but the assailant came after her and after catching her up stabbed her again, this time in the back. She was rushed to hospital in a critical state.
