Club A C La Herradura paid homage to herradureña Consuelo Barbero "in recognition of her dedication and perseverance in the promotion of Bici Paseo."

Those are the words on a plaque that the cycle club presented to Consuelo, which was presented to her by the Chairman, José Luis Cabrera, and the Club Secretary, Francisco Catena, respectivamente, together with a bouquet of flowers.

The plaque was awarded within the fairground area on the Paseo Andrés Segovia just before dozens of cyclists of all ages set off in the Paseo Familiar en Bici.
