A construction worker in Granada fell five floors but was saved by safety netting around the building.
This happened around 16.00h yesterday in the centre of the city of Granada, on Calle Deifontes. The 22-year-old builder was only slightly hurt despite the height of the fall.
However, the fire service was needed to get him down from the netting so that he could be driven by ambulance to the Hospital Virgen de las Nieves for a check-up and to see to his injuries.
The Policía Local and Policía Nacional were also involved in the rescue.

Nothing to do with this. But what happened about the illegal new semi detached house in Salobrena. By the restaurants. I thought she had been told to knock the illegal build down or at least the top floor. To bring it in line with the other house roofs.
Must be nice to have mates still in power. !?
I don’t get to town much. So if it’s obeyed the orders given. Then I apologise for not knowing. Ok. !!
I often see workers here. Doing stuff at height. Scaffolding. But no safety bars . As you often see in the UK. Put your trust in god. I guess. At least they had netting. In place to stop falling stuff hitting pedestrians. ??
