Officers belonging to the Guardia Civil have arrested a man suspected of having carried out a burglary in La Herradura.
The police believe that the suspect, a 23-year-old Bolivian man with a criminal record, broke into a dwelling in the early hours of the 5th of this month.
He allegedly entered a first-floor flat by climbing up to a balcony and forcing the sliding, glass door. He reportedly stole a tablet before leaving the same way he had gained entrance.
Unfortunately for him, he didn’t realise that the flat had security cameras inside where he was filmed wandering from room to room in search of valuables.
The owner of the flat reported that his flat had been burgled to the Guardia Civil, handing over a copy of the CCTV images. The police immediately recognised him as the same man that they had arrested in July for a different offence.
