Flamenco para Todos is the name of the music festival to be held in the Parque El Majuelo in Almuñécar on the 18th.
As the festival’s title states, it is a Flamenco one with members of the Gómez Muñoz family, including the very popular María La Canastera and Antonio El Turry heading the bill and organising the event.
The date chosen for this concert is none other than for the Día Internacional del Flamenco and the time that the event will begin on the 18th is 13.00h.
Three Flamenco, dance academies will participate: María Gómez La Canastera, Paola Almodóvar, the Mercedes Martín art school and the dance school, Virgen de la Angustias.
Later in the afternoon at 17.30h, there will be a performance by Los Nietos de La Rumba. Then at 20.30h there will be a performance by Kike Morente and Manuel Fernández Montoya El Carpeta.
Besides the music and dance, there is also a kiddies’ area with free entrance up to 10-years old, as well as a food & refreshment area.
Maria and her brother, Antonio, said, “We would like Almuñécar, as well as the local area, to participate on this day and enjoy Flamenco.”
Pre-concert tickets for 15 euros can be purchased in Almuñécar at: Arena Tropical Bar, Viajes Eroski, Librería Contreras and at the Casa de la Cultura; and Librería Páramo in La Herradura and Antonio Gómez in Motril. Tickets can also be purchased online via www. bravoentradas.es

Julie: I would certainly think so.
I went to Libreria Paramo in La Herradura to buy a ticket this morning but they told me there
is some sort of technical fault with the organisers and they can’t sell any tickets. I’m sure I can
pay at the entrance on the night?
