Hello Martin
Since the new Mayor has been in power in Salobrena we have witnessed the roads being cleaned on a daily basis.
My wife and I laugh as we watch the same roads being cleaned several times a week, sometimes even twice in the same day. Why are the roads getting such premium treatment?
The pavements around town could do with some serious cleaning and a jet wash or two. How about cleaning some of the houses in the Old Town to recapture the “White Village” appearance?
It just seems that someone has been told to keep the roads clean and no one is managing what is actually happening; Money Down the Drain.
Kind Regards
Shiner

There ain’t enough water to clean streets. As for las cacas de perros owners should be fined period
Cheap jokes aside, Spain has things to learn and improve on about litter, recycling and dog management to name a few. So let’s welcome Salobreña’s initiative and advice them on how to become even better at it.
No shit Martin! I went down to the Balcon in la Caleta with my mate, seen the pictures, class! Bus was late. Anyway got to the Balcon their was a flip-flop in one of two little boats that are there. Didn’t say nowt to chappy – it wasn’t mine but it was a sign! Had a couple at bar Glorias. Wondering where all these people gonna find a space down there

Warren: did you buy some new flip-flops in Torremolinas?
Hello all just spent a couple of months in good old Salobreña; same dog shit, same smelly bins, same locals (do they ever go to bed?) At least Mercadona’s got lovely air con
PS went to Torremolinas the day before I flew back to Swinton – how I missed the dog shit the smelly bins and Mercadona’s air con

So much dog dirt on the pavements I’d like to see these cleaned and disinfected first.
It’s a bit like seeing one man digging a hole and his three mates watching. I have seen similar in old, Eastern-bloc countries.
Guess you’ll never change certain mindsets.
Plus to clean the pavements. You’d need to stop the pedestrian traffic. Thereby stopping people going to their favourite shop.
