Stolen Car Causes Accident

A man who drove the wrong way up an autovía after stealing the vehicle, caused an accident involving eight vehicles.

GRA Stolen Car Causes Accident MR23On the 23rd of January, with his face covered, the 30-year-old man had allegedly attacked a woman who had just pulled up outside a school in order to pick up her child. After hitting her to subdue her he stole her car.

Mere hours later, he caused the before-mentioned road accident on the M-30 because he drove down an exit ramp, causing a collision involving eight vehicles leaving seven people injured, one of whom, seriously.

Consequently he is also charged with driving without a valid licence and reckless driving, as well as abandoning the scene of an accident and the violent robbery of a vehicle.

The Guardia Civil in Armilla managed to identify him thanks to CCTV images captured in nearby premises to where he mugged the woman.

Separately, in February he was arrested, suspected of being a member of a gang based in Maracena and besides eleven armed robberies, also stole vehicles in the Metropolitan area of Granada and Salar.

    The car is innocent ok. !!
