The women were hit by a car that was involved in a collision in Torre del Mar.
The accident took place around 17.00h on Thursday the 23rd near the crossroad on the Avenida Antonio Toré Toré with the old main road.
One of the cars bounced up onto a path (sidewalk) owing to the force of the impact, hitting the three victims who had been sitting on a bench.
The three victims were rushed to the Axarquía Area Hospital, two of whom were seriously injured. The drivers of the two cars, both women, also required medical assistance after the collision.

Tobt. You’ll find that over 65s are only involved in approx 33% of road incidents. Not saying they are the cause. Only involved. So therefore the other 66% roughly are over 17 and under 65. The other 1% is down to bad luck. Animals or natural disasters. Such as rock fall. Falling rock climber or animal with a death wish.!

You’ll also find that drink drivers are not responsible for the majority of traffic incidents as well. Main thing is speeding. Again which many under 65s seem to do.
