Six people were injured when a pine tree fell onto a bar terrace in Nuevo Portil (Huelva).

All the victims were taken to the Hospital Juan Ramón Jiménez. One of them, however, had to be freed first, from beneath the tree trunk, by fire personnel.

The accident occurred a little before 22.30h one evening around the end of last month, which was when 112 started receiving calls – all told 15 people phoned the incident in.

The large pine stood next to this bar at one end of Avenida Playas de Cartaya in Nuevo Portil and when it came down it landed on a table with six people sitting around it.
