A paraglider pilot suffered an accident and died on Wednesday the 24th after crashing into a sea cliff in Almería.

A witness who had seen the accident take place contacted 112, who in turn alerted the Guardia Civil and Salvamiento Marítimo (sea rescue)

The accident took place within the municipality of Carboneras in an area of the coastline below the Mirador de Granatilla. The fire service and the Policía were also on hand. However, according to medical sources the man, whose identity has not been given, died in the act from multiple injuries.
