If you love quaint settings and views, then La Botica in Salobreña is defintely worth a visit.
Located on the old town-hall square at the top of town, Restaurante-Bar Botica not only has seating in the square where you can relax to the sound of the fountain, but it also has a 150 sq/m skybar with panoramic views of the vega below.
As you can guess from its name, this 17th-Century premises used to be a pharmacy.
Food in general is good but the fish is excellent. Combine this with a friendly staff, great setting and good vibes and you have the recipe for a Andalusian-style, evening out to enjoy.

Patrick: Taxi up, taxi down, failing that, a Roman-catapult (onager) launch from the beach area… Make sure you strap an ironing board to each arm as wings to obtain an accurate flight path. Oh and don’t forget a Pogo stick as shock-absorbing undercarriage. Here at the Gazette, we aim to be helpful; you just concentrate on aiming for the main square.
Hiya. I avoid the old town as parking is a tad difficult. Is there any parking within say a five to ten min walk. I’d hate to get towed or a ticket.
