A 45-year-old man died within the municipality of Salobreña during the early hours of this morning after being run over on a N-340 roundabout.
The Emergency number 112 received a call at 05.40h to say that a person had been hit by a car on an N-340 roundabout.
Immediately the Guardia Civil, Policía Local and an ambulance were despatched to the scene.
No further information has been given about the victim other than his age and his death.

Barry: the clue is in the name: English, “indicators” they indicate your intentions. Spanish; “intermitentes” (Intermitents lights; i.e., blink on and off). I learnt to drive in Spain and my instructor taught us the wrong way to use a roundabout – I pointed this out to him after class; he wasn’t impressed.
Roundabouts here are murder to negotiate. I have seen driving instructors with pupils. Showing them the odd way. That most Spanish seem to use on a roundabout. As for indicators. What are they. ??
