Starting today, the 25th, the municipal buses in Salobreña covering Linea-1 & Linea-2 will now run Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday.
These two lines, which used to stop midday Saturday, connect the town centre with the beach and with the old town.
Councillor Ignacio Trujillo announced this change, explaining that it had long been a demand from residents, especially the elderly and those who have mobility problems.
Obviously, it has also been put into motion because of the increased summer population.
The routes remain the same, making the same stops, running every half an hour from 10.00h to 20.00h. The beach service starts half an hour ealier at 09.30h.
Finally, this weekend service will run until September and the arrival of autumn.
