This week the Salobreña's Oficina Municipal de la Energía (OME) opened its doors, offering advice on how to reduce utility bills.
This office will give all the information you need on the process for obtaining and installing solar panels for generating electricity or heating water, for example.
Not just that, but it will help you choose the cheapest option contracting the services of utility companies for your domestic needs and they will explain the different billing systems that they offer.
Eva Martín, who runs the Oficina Municipal de la Energía in Salobreña which can be found in the Town Hall, explained that the office is open on Wednesdays 8th, 22nd and 29th of June between 10.00h and 13.30 and on Wednesdays 6th, 13th and 20th in July. The office will be closed during August and then reopen in September on Wednesdays 14th and 28th.
You can just physically turn up there but it is recommended that you make an appointment either by phoning 613 036 001 or via email ome@ayto-salobrena.org.
