This time it is a big fire on the Motril side of the Río Guadalfeo, requiring two teams of fire personnel.

To be more precise, the fire is next to the Camino de Pelaillo, near the Charca de Suárez (the wetland municipal reserve).

The fire, which began around midday, has a column of smoke that is clearly visible from most points on the peninsular and the surrounding hills.

Workers from Maquifrut have been evacuated for the moment.
