Another Salobreña Vega Fire

There was yet another vega fire in Salobreña on Saturday afternoon, which given the frequency of these incidents, few consider are accidental.

Two people were injured, trying to put out a fire on vega farmland between Motril and Salobreña this afternoon.

This time it is a big fire on the Motril side of the Río Guadalfeo, requiring two teams of fire personnel.

So far this is the best photo that we have seen of the recent vega fire in Salobreña, which was taken by Ramon Khan.

I had the opportunatey to visit the site of the fire this morning and speak with the fire personnel there.
