A group of eight mothers from the Barrio de Varadero-Santa Adela in Motril have made a complaint against a dance instructor, accusing him of pedophilia.
According to the mothers the 22 year old monitor had made advances towards their children, aged between 13 and 15.
Consequently, a judge has placed a court order against the accused, as a precautionary measure, forbidding him to approach the said minors
The affair came to light four months ago on the 13th of October when the parents made the accusation before the police.
The parents claim that the accused blackmailed the minors using the possesion of comprimising photographs and videos. They also claim that the accused physically abused some of his allegeded victims
At the moment the investigation is in the hands of the Motril law courts, where the mothers will shortly be summoned to declare before a judge.
It came to light when one of the mothers had access to her child’s mobile phone and came across the photos and videos. She went to speak with the dance instructor and according to her, he admitted that he used bogus profiles on Instigrams as part of a “joke and a game.”
Lastly, the affected families have organised a demonstration for the 22nd of this month, which is the day that the judge will summon the minors to declare.
