The unusual headline covers several cutural and culinary events coming up not to be missed from a tapa-route in Otívar to a medieval fair in Salobreña.
Firstly, Otivar is holding a tapa-route event over two weekends; this coming weekend and the next. Otívar has a suprisingly good number of eateries for such a small village, including the Buena Vista, Bar Madera, Restaurante El Capricho, Pub El Indio (for snacks) and… Dave & Paula at the Boutique Hotel Villa Otivar, will also be participating with them in this special-tapas event.
Next, this Sunday of course is the annual firework display night in Almuñécar, which is always held on the 15th of August. Without doubt the best view of the fireworks from a restaurant table is the Mirador El Corregidora (Cotobro on the N-340).
We spoke with Encarni and she told us that she still has one or two spaces left for reservations. So, call 682 837 873 if you’re interested before somebody else snaps them up.
Next, we have a spot of live music at Robert’s Top with Cuban-Latin-Jazz provided by the trio Timbalito Street. That’s today at 22.30h and entrance is free.
But that’s just Almuñécar and Otívar because over in Salobreña you have the Bonny Tyler concert in Salobreña tomorrow and over the weekend the Medieval Fair in the Parque La Fuente II from 19.30h to 02.00h the next morning running from today until Monday the 16th!
So, you have a good choice this weekend, starting today and plenty of opportunities to put on a few, well-earned kilos or feast your ears.
