Almuñécar has a mass Covid screening on Monday and a mass vaccination event on Friday. Read on!

Firstly, this coming Monday, 800 people will be informed via SMS to report for Antigen Tests next to the sports facilities, José María García, which is situated on Avenida Amelia Sánchez de Alcázar. 

That’s the one next to the municipal swimming pool on the road running parallel with the Paseo de San Cristobal. The mobile unit will be parked there. You’ll receive appointments between 11.30h and 15.30h.

Seeing as they are free and you would have to pay for one in the UK if travelling there, perhaps people shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, folks.

Secondly, on Friday next week (the 13th) residents of Almuñécar and La Herradura between the ages of 20 and 39, who have still not received their vaccines may do so, without needing an appointment.

The vaccine that will be administer between 09.00h and 12.00h at the Municipal Stadium will be Pfizer. The vaccination process will be carried out on a first-come-first-served basis  and will last whilst stocks remain.
