The 33-year-old man was already under investigation in Ibiza for this motive, after the received several denuncias over rental agreements.

Police investigations started six months ago  revealed that his name had cropped up in seven rental contracts on the island, and cooperation between police forces uncovered a total of 40 cases of fraud all over Spain.

Knowing already that the suspect had left Ibiza a Spanish arrest warrant was issued and finally he was tracked down to Motril and arrested. It turned out that this was not the only arrest warrant issued in his name over charges of fraud.
