A man had to be rescued from the bottom of a well on a farm in the province of Sevilla, after falling ten metres to the bottom.
The incident took place on the 19th with the emergency call centre receiving an alert at 17.15h from a witness to the accident. Apparently, the victim had been carryinh out repairs to the structure.
An air ambulance was despatched to the location within the municipality of Lora del Río, as well as the local fire service. The latter had to use rope and harness gear to pull the man out, which was no easy task.
When the man fell in, he was followed by two pieces of equipment (motorised tools) landing on top of him.
When the fire personnel managed to untangle him from the said tools and bring him to the surface, he was flown to the Hospital Virgen Macarena in Sevilla.
