One of the workshops on the Motril Vadillo trading estate was filled with smoke after a van caught fire in it yesterday.

The affected building, a car-repair unit on Calle Bolivia, is located just across from the new bus station.

The Motril fire service was needed around 11.00h to clear the smoke as the mechanics themselves had been able to put the fire out in the car, which was under repairs. The 5-man fire crew also had to do the same in a nearby building, as well.
