Dear Martin,
I would really like you to put in the Seaside Gazette, if it’s possible the following:
I and many English people, also Spanish, would like to say a great big thank you to all the various police forces: Policía National, Guardia Civil and Policía Local, as well as the beach auxilaries, for how strict they have been from the start of Lockdown, even up to date. It is a credit to them. All of them deserve medals.
When I look from my Villa at Salobreña Beach and the neat lines and spaces, it is really magnificent. So please give them a little credit and a mention.
They, as far as many people are concerned, have done and continue to do a magnificent job.
Yours sincerely
Vera Baker

I would add to Vera’s list, the Spanish people in general, both for their behaviour during the Lockdown and now with the summer norms on beach uses. There are exceptions, of course, but as a nation, it has been examplary. Enhorabuena, España.
I totally agree with Vera.
I only wish that California would have followed the same protocol call as Spain.I am sad as I cannot return to Almunecar until the restrictions are over.
