The Junta de Andalucía, through its Public Health Board, has issued a situation report on Covid-19 cases in the Districto Granada Sur.
The Costa Tropical has 33 confirmed new cases in the last seven days but only one of them requiring hospital care.
Cases on the Costa Tropical:
Motril: 20 cases
Albuñol: eight cases
Almuñécar: one case
Salobreña: one case, which has still not officially been included in the tally.
Vélez Benaudalla: one case – the three other cases have since been given the all clear.
At the moment, in Andalucia there are 71 localised outbreaks that are active, after including the latest nine localised outbreaks. There are 28 localised outbreaks which are no longer active.
As for the Province of Granada, there are 11 localised outbreaks, three of which are on the coast.
Over in the Axarquia, there only appears to be one case and that is in Nerja.
