Border Opening Moves Forward

SPN Prime Minister SanchezSpanish PM, Pedro Sánchez, announced during a video conference with regional PMs today that Spanish borders would be opened up on the 22nd of June.

The only exception will be the border shared with Portugal, which will have to wait until the 1st of July; that was at the request of that country.

Sr Sánchez has explained that this decision was taken given the favourable evolution of the pandemic and that the immediate consequence would be that there would be no 2-week quarantine needed for those entering the country.
