The PM of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, has announced that he will not opt to permit travel between Andalucia and other regions.
The Central Government gave regional parliaments the power to decided whether they would permit travel between their provinces, as well as permit travel between their autonomous regions and adjacent ones that are on the same phase level; i.e., Phase Three.
This means, for example, that 2nd-home owners with properties on the Costa Tropical can take up residence as long as their 1st home is within Andalucía, but it will not permit those from Madrid, for example, doing so. Besides which, Madrid is not on Phase Three yet, anyway.
The movement of Andalusians from the interior of the region down to the coast will bring several million of visitors – Andalucía has over six-million inhabitants.
“Now is the time to be prudent,” said PM Moreno, adding, “my idea is that during the next two weeks there should be no movement from or to another region.” He concluded, “we must proceed step by step and do things correctly.”
Editorial comment: Whilst many will agree with the PM’s words above, he appears to have forgotten that he has done nothing but try to force things forward during the Lock Down, complaining about Granada and Málaga being kept back in Phase One and then demanding that these provinces move forward after only one week, which was reject.
Yet he insisted again when we reached Phase Two to be allowed to move forward to Phase Three after only one week before finally getting his way.
Where were “the time to be prudent” and “do things correctly” back then, one wonders.

I take it you will be driving? As things stand, you cannot enter Spain until the 1st of July, by which time the restrictions on inter-regional travel will have expired.
Could you explain
the present travel regulations for French citizens visiting the Costa Tropical.
Thank you,
Michael Wright.
