Gaming Hall Closed over Minors

AND Gambling Hall ClosedThe Junta de Andalucía brought out a law last December governing gambling establishments. Following this, one such place has been closed down.

The Andalusian Regional Police acted against a gambling hall in Rincón de la Victoria on the Avenida del Mediterráneo after nine minors were found inside using the facilities.

This now makes three gambling halls that have been closed in the province of Málaga since the new law came in. However, the previous two were closed down for staying open too late into the early morning rather than permitting minors to enter

The raid was actually carried out by the Guardia Civil on the 7th of February, who passed the case over to the regional police force. When the police shut it down, they put a seal on the doors. However the very next day, somebody had snapped the tape so the police have had to replace it.

The owners of the business are facing a fine between 10,000 and 300,000 euros.
