The Guardia Civil is investigating a woman in Salobreña for allegedly stealing 2.5 tonnes of mangoes.

The theft took place in the early hours of the 18th of November on a plantation in an area known as Paraje Camino Del Canal.

The suspect allegedly cut through the perimeter fence and  loaded up 2,500 kilos of fruit – keen to say the least!

The suspect was caught because she had lost her mobile there – it fell out of her pocket next to the fence!
