The high winds this morning have blown a tree down in Torrecuevas, blocking the road. The Guardia Civil and fire service are working to clear it at the moment.

There is a school event planned in Otívar this morning with teachers coming down from Granada, but the ones coming up from the coast are held up in Torrecuevas.

The fallen eucalyptus tree is near Venta Luciano and the tail back stretch to Las Peñuelas.

Update: the open was reopened around 10.30h.
