The Salobreña Policía Local were called into action when the Head Teacher of the Lobres school reported an unauthorised entry into the school.
It was the cleaners at the school who informed the Head about the presence of youths in the schoolyard.
It was 17.45h yesterday when the police patrol arrived at the Cervantes Junior School (CEIP) and asked the youths to identify themselves. Upon searching them they found two clasp knives and drugs.
Apparently, this group of youngsters made a habit of climbing over the school fence in order to consume drugs there. Whilst there, they also indulged in a bit of vandalism, too.
The Policía Local will now be carrying out frequent patrols around the school during after-class hours.
