AND Most Wanted Swede ArrestedAn off-duty officer belonging to the Policía Nacional arrested two Swedish brothers on the run in a shopping mall in Málaga on Sunday 7th.

The two men, aged 35 and 37, have several European arrest warrants out on them in connection with kidnapping and torture.

The double arrest took place in the shopping mall within the train station on Sunday around 14.00h, which was packed with tourists and train passengers. The officer recognised the two men from wanted posters and other information through international-cooperation channels.

The suspects had allegedly kidnapped and tortured an invidivual during three days in order to obtain his bank details and PIN number. The brothers are considered “dangerous fugitives,” belonging to a biker gang in Goteborg. Furthermore, one of them is an Olympic-level boxer.

The off-duty policeman followed them along the main thoroughfare of the mall while stopping security guards to let them know what was afoot. It was with the support of the security guards that he approached the men, identified them and carried out the arrest.
