On the previous day, Sunday the 30th, there was a road accident around 10.30h on the A-7 when a car hit the crash barrier and turned over.

Workers set about clearing off the lanes and returning them to a working condition yet by 11.40h on that same stretch of road there was another accident when a motorbike and a car collided. Two people were injured, a 51-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, both of whom were hospitalised at the Hospital Santa Ana.
