For the third year running, Lobres will be holding a charity paella in support of the fight against leukaemia.
The III Paella Solidaria a Beneficio de la Fundación Josep Carreras will comprise of activities, starting at 17.00h on Saturday the 30th with kiddy workshops to celebrate Kids’ Day: handicraft, drawing and badge-making, amongst others.
That same day in the Salon de Actos at the Casa de la Cultura a painting exhibition will be inaugurated at 19.00h, featuring the works of José Antonio Lerta Mármol
Then on Sunday the 31st at 14.30h it will be time for the charity paella which you will able to enjoy at three euros a plate, with the money going entirely to the Fundación Josep Carreras to help his battle with this illness.
In fact during the whole day there will be fun activities, such fairground attractions, live music, Zumba classes and a 2nd-hand street market. There will also be an information stand on leukaemia.
Finally, there will be a grand raffle with other 30 prizes, costing only one euro per raffle ticket.
So, there lots going on in Lobres this weekend and all for a good cause. Pop along for the paella, the flea market and the live music and at the same time, help Josep Carreras just be being present and participating.
