The yearly congregation of clubs and associations in Almuñécar will take place this Saturday (25th May) in the Majuelo Park, with around 40 stands.

Don’t forget that Joaquin from Chambao de Joaquin will be strutting his stuff in Majuelo Park in Almuñécar on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of this month. He will be making his usual giant paella in such a way that only Joaquin can.
Unicef Paella

The Unicef, fund-raising event took place in the Majuelo park on the 7th of May with around 200 people attending and getting stuck into Joaquim’s giant paella.
Baracoa Fundraiser

Joaquín from El Chambao de Joaquín held his annual fund-raising event on July 23rd and 24th at Plaza Nueva in La Herradura. From what I have been told, the fund-raiser was to assist the town of Baracoa in Cuba with funding for social installations such as schools and hospitals.

The XIV Solidarity Campaign with Baracoa (Cuba) enjoyed some sunshine, thank God, as there was a worry that recent rains would spoil the fund-raising event, which, by the way, will be using some of the funds obtained to help the people of Haiti.
