The Salobreña branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) managed to raise an excellent amount of funds from their charity paella held last month during the Romería fiestas.
For the third year running, Lobres will be holding a charity paella in support of the fight against leukaemia.
Two brothers began a long-distance run today from Loja’s Plaza de la Victoria to Salobreña, arriving tomorrow in support of the AECC to raise funds.

Don’t forget that Joaquin from Chambao de Joaquin will be strutting his stuff in Majuelo Park in Almuñécar on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of this month. He will be making his usual giant paella in such a way that only Joaquin can.
The Unicef, fund-raising event took place in the Majuelo park on the 7th of May with around 200 people attending and getting stuck into Joaquim’s giant paella.
