The entity that runs Marina del Este, Marinas del Mediterráneo, carried out 30 improvement tasks around the port recently.
Everything from coating the wooden walkways with linseed oil to maintenance checks on the travel lift (used for getting craft in and out of the water for repairs etc) were carried out.
The port entrance light got a lick of green paint, whilst the CCTV cameras were serviced and the buoys at the port entrance were cleaned up. The watering system for the flower beds and street lighting were checked over, cracked pavement stones replaced and litter bins painted.
In short, if you had visited the port during the clean-up operation and stood still for five minutes you would have run the risk of being repainted.
