Flights out of Granada belonging to the low-cost airline, Vueling, have suffered delays and even cancellations, causing a lot of complaints. Their flights into the said airport have also been affected.

Most of the trouble is with the flights between Barcelona and Granada, but ones between Granada and Palma de Mallorca have also been affected.

On average the delays are up to one and a half hours.

According to the airline, the problems have been caused by pilots and crews clocking up too many air hours, so Vueling has had to look for other options; i.e., moving the passengers to other flights; finding other crews or simply cancelling the flight.

Another cause has been the tail end of weather conditions on Monday causing delays and cancellations.
