Romanian Residents Office

MOT Councillor for ImmigrationDid you know that one of the largest EU-resident populations in Motril is the Romanian one, which is why the Town Hall opened a special office for them.

Thanks to an agreement with the Romanian Consulates in Almería and Sevilla whereby Romanian citizens don’t have to travel to these cities to obtain/submit paperwork, explained the Councillor for Immigration, Mercedes Sánchez.

The Centro Intercultural on Calle Galicia, bajo 1 (Rambla de los Álamos) has housed an information point for the Romanian community since 2015 where such bureaucratic needs can be taken care of.

But this office is not only for Romanians living in Motril, because as it is the only such office in all of the province, it caters for Rumanian citizens all over Granada.
