Salobreña Walkers Club

SAL Walkers Club OnLThe Salobreña Town Hall, in collaboration with Sinergya Sport, will be offering a municipal hiking programme, taking in several places of interest in the province.

The walks will all be low and medium-difficulty routes starting on the 18th of February and running into June. The price per person is twelve euros per excursion, the same as last year, which includes transport, guides and the necessary insurance. However, you can buy a season pass for just 50 euros.

The first route on Sunday the 18th will take in Alfagüara in the Sierra de Huétor Natural Park. March’s route will be through the surroundings of the Alhambra (Dehesa del Generalife).

April will take walkers through the Valle de Lecrín, taking in its villages including Chite and Béznar. In May it will be the turn of the foothills of Sierra Nevada starting at the Centro de Visitantes El Dornajo to Güejar Sierra.

The last month in the programme, June, will be around Salobreña itself ending with a meal.

If you want to participate, you must be 18 or over, however, minors can join in if accompanied. The maximum group is 50 walkers, so it’s first come; first served. To put your name down and for further details, visit www.sinergyasport.com.
