The summer, rubbish-collection times ended in Almuñécar on the 15h, after having been in force since the 15th of July in an effort to keep the town tourist-friendly.

So, don’t put your rubbish out, if you live in the centre of town, before 20.00h, says the Town Hall. They also call on residents to use proper rubbish bags that are well tied off so that they don’t leak, and above all, get the bags into the hopper, rather than leaving them on the ground next to them.
