Renovation work on the Casa de la Cultura in Salobreña’s La Caleta has concluded, giving, amongst other things, the school and the doctor’s surgery separate entrances.

The playground or play area has been kitted out with rubber mats; even the trees have rubber around them!

The first floor has new toilets and the reception area has been transferred downstairs, giving better accessibility, says the Councillor for Public Works, Javier Ortega.

Finally, the whole building has been give a lick of paint and tidied up a bit, all within the 55,000-euro budget.
