Don’t forget that Almuñécar will be holding its annual Gastronomic Fair in the Parque Botánico el Majuelo on the Friday the 9th, Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of June.

The event really starts Friday around midday and lasts until Sunday lunch, finishing around five o’clock, Saturday is the longest day, so to speak, covering both lunch and dinner with evening entertainment. However, Sunday, being the last day, is the day that gets a lot of visitors.

Whatever day you plan your visit for, you are sure to get a good look at local cuisine, being able to sample dishes from just about every restaurant, meson or eating house in Almuñécar, without leaving the square.

Definitely a not-to-be-missed event each spring!
