Salobreña mounted a stand at the Granada-province tourist fair in Melilla at the beginning of May, with the idea of attracting Melilla residents over.
Vicente, who works at the Salobreña Tourism Office, was there to hand out brochures and answer questions.
The fair ran from the 4th to the 6th of May in the central square, Plaza de las Cuatro Culturas, where there was also entertainment in the form of games, raffles, prizes and even Flamenco-dancing classes.
Motril Port is becoming ever the doorway to North Africa, probably because it is the shortest sea-crossing route to Melilla so it makes sense not only to provide tourist information to foreign passengers on luxury cruises, but also promote the our province in Motril sister town across the Med.
