The Festival Internacional de Jazz & Blues has become a must in the provincial cultural agenda over its decade-long existence, despite the ongoing cuts generated by the economic crisis.
Previous years have seen such top musicians Jacky Terrason and Saxophonist, Jorge Pardo (awarded Best Jazz Musician 2012 by the French Jazz Academy). Other names equally important are Joe Louis Walker, Érik Truffaz and Aaron Goldberg.
This year’s festival begins on the Friday the 5th with the Daahoud Salim Quintet, followed on Saturday the 6th by Anthony Strong. Both performances will be held on the Patio de las Escuelas at 22:30h.
