Three Caught on a Ladder

Gaz online logoThe police nabbed three burglars in the act in Pulianas (Granada), climbing a ladder to gain access to the upper floor of a house. They were after marijuana plants.

Two of them were actually arrested as they climbed back down the ladder whilst the third, who took refuge inside, was apprehended after the police forced open the front door.

The Guardia Civil were very pleased to stumble across 110 marijuana plants in the process of being dried out within an otherwise empty house.

The three burglars, all Romanians, were aged between 30 and 35 and have impressive criminal records.

They explained to the police that they had chosen the empty house because they knew that there was a marijuana plantation inside, together with all the necessary equipment.

Consequently, the Guardia Civil also arrested a 24-year-old Spaniard, who was allegedly in charge of the indoor plantation.
