Another incident during the San Fermín fiestas in Pamplona, this time the victim was a 22-year-old French woman, who sexually assaulted. In this latest incident, it was a lone aggressor.

This incident follows on the heels of the case of the five attackers who not only raped a 19-year-old girl but also filmed the attack on one of their mobile phones. One of the alleged attackers was a trainee Guardia Civil policeman.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg because during the 9th and 10th of July, the Policia Local have made four arrests, all linked to sexual assaults.

Two people were arrested, for instance, in the Plaza del Castillo; the first for sexually assault and the second for causing bodily harm to the boyfriend of a victim who had tried to intervene to prevent it happening.

Meanwhile, in the old town on Calle San Nicolás, a man was arrested for attempting to molest a female police officer.

Cases of sexual abuse have been a constant problem for the San Fermín bull runs each July, so much so that the City Hall has been calling upon citizens not to hesitate to report it, if they witness any such scene.
