You expect to find all kinds of ice-creams in the freezer of an ice-cream parlour, but what you don’t expect is the frozen body of a man – however, this was the case in Sevilla.

A 44-year-old woman walked into the police station in Dos Hermanos to confess that she had killed a man and hidden him in the freezer of her ice-cream parlour (heladería).

The police popped around and, effectively, there was a dead man looking a little out of place amongst the more logical contents of an ice-cream-parlour freezer.

The victim was a local from a nearby area of the same city (San Jeronimo) and was married with five children.

Locals were surprised by the news and described her as a “normal woman and very polite who got on with everybody.” The general opinion amongst the locals is that they were not lovers as the woman had declared to all her neighbours that she was gay.

So far, there is no official news on why she killed the man and hid him in the freezer; no doubt more information will be forthcoming.
