I am a resident in Salobreña and many of us are getting more and more concerned at the way the Castle area; Paseo de las Flores, is looking.

The works on the Castle are not finished, the massive crane still blights the skyline and all the hedges are dead.

This morning, somebody at the Ayuntamiento said – allegedly – that the company that has been doing the work there had gone bust. Maybe you can inquire at the Ayuntamiento exactly what is going on?

The works should originally have been finished by end of May, then July, then August…

It will be interesting to see whether you can find out what is going on. Is the Ayun. running out of money etc etc?
