The Policía Nacional have arrested a Danish tourist, whose wife was found dead in a hotel in Torre del Mar, with signs of violence.

The police investigation is waiting on the autopsy results – it will be carried out tomorrow, Monday the 22nd.

The victim, a 40-year-old Danish woman, was found in her hotel room, after the husband went to reception to call for an ambulance. He allegedly claimed that she had attempted to kill herself.

However, the body of the woman had extensive bruising, as well as scratch marks. The room was also in disarray.

The couple had booked in the day before and were due to return to Denmark the next day.
