A fire broke out in the Majuelo Botanical Gardens in Almuñécar last night (8th) between 20.30h and 23.00h, in the stage area of the park.
Several palm trees were destroyed and nearby vehicles parked beside the park on the road leading up to the castle were damaged.
This is not the first time that there has been a fire in this area and first indications suggest arson.
