At the end of last month the Policia Nacional arrested 17 people in Alomartes (Illora, western Granada), allegedly belonging to a drugs gang.

This raid was a follow up on the arrest in November of a man for the alleged murder of a nightclub owner in Estepona in January 2013.

The police consider that this man is the leader of an international drugs gang, some of whom are French. Not only is the gang led by this alleged hitman but operating from the province of Granada they introduce drugs into France.

Together with these arrests, the police have confiscated the produce of four illegal greenhouse crops; a total of 1,500 marijuana plants.
